Dancin'
in the Street 2006
Alexander
County Chamber of Commerce held their annual Street Dance and Antique
Car Show for 2006. United
Carolina Group-Mortgage Planners joined forces with Cooper Southern
Properties and passed out free Hawaiian Leis to all the attendees and
sponsored the DJ and Karaoke. Everyone had a great time with
all the fun festivities including the dunking booth, cake walks and
lots of good food. There were some beautiful antique cars on
display and lots of people were in the streets by nightfall to dance
to the music! Taylorsville is
a great place to live and enjoy these wonderful hometown festivals. |

Moving
Day 2005
We moved to our new location on August 5, 2005.
It was quite a day with several pickup trucks, trailers
and much manual labor. How did all this stuff come out
of that small office that we were in? We are so thankful
to have our new office and hope that if you haven't been
by, that you will drop in some day and let us give you
the tour. The building is very old and is estimated to
have been built in the early to mid 1800's. We've done
a lot of renovation but tried to maintain the look and
character of the original building. If you have any knowledge
of the history of this old house, I would love to hear
from you. We look forward to seeing you real soon.

Christmas
2005
This was a very special Christmas for our staff and friends since
it was our first Christmas in our new location. We were so pleased
to host the refreshment buffet for the Tour of Homes sponsored
by the Rotary Club of Taylorsville. Our staff were dressed in victorian
costumes and greeted visitors with caroling.
We enjoyed decorating stairways, hallways and windows for the festive
& blessed season. Visitors were in awe over the beautiful Nativity
scene that graced our entrance hall table.
And to top the season off, our teeth were chattering, but we had lots
of fun riding on our Christmas float and throwing candy to the kids!
