Jamie Harrington –

Jamie Harrington is the founder of United Carolina Group-Mortgage Planners and is now Carolinas Regional Manager of NC. United Carolina Group became a branch office of FFC Mortgage which is based in Rochester, NY. She became involved in the mortgage industry 20 years ago as a CPA, while owning and operating her own CPA firm. The mortgage business grew quickly and within 2 years, Jamie sold the accounting firm and dove full time into the residential mortgage business. Since that time she has continued to grow the company and has been involved in thousands of real estate transactions for millions of dollars in loan volume. She is also an experienced real estate investor and has bought and sold numerous properties. Jamie has been invited many times to share her knowledge and experience with real estate companies.

Jamie has assembled an impressive collection of accolades including being named one of the ‘Top 12 Business Women’ in the area that is making a difference in their fields. She is known in the community for her honesty and integrity in business as well and her sincere desire to help others. She lives in Taylorsville with her husband Lanny and their 3 dogs. She attends Pleasant Hill Baptist Church where she chairs the church finance committee. Jamie, along with her Sunday school class, heads a ministry called ‘All Things Possible’ that raises money to help the needy in Alexander County by buying food, paying utilities and assisting with temporary shelter. To date, thousands of dollars have gone to help those in distress. Her son Todd and his wife Shannon live in Mocksville, NC.

Jamie holds a Bachelors degree in Accounting from Lenoir Rhyne College, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. She is a CPA, licensed in the state of North Carolina and is licensed by the North Carolina Commissioner of Banks as a mortgage loan originator.

Martha Conrad – Licensed Mortgage Loan Originator
When you mention the name Martha Conrad to anyone that knows her, it brings a smile to their face. Everyone loves Martha, especially her past students and now her borrowing customers. Martha comes from a 30 year background in the school system as a speech therapist and mentor, dealing with children with special needs. She has the gifted ability to get past the surface to discover how she can be of service to her customers and to her referral partners. One of her greatest joys is to assist a young couple in purchasing their first home, especially when those customers are past students.

Married 28 years to business owner, Greg Conrad, Martha understands what it takes to keep a business growing and thriving, both when times are good and when it is lean. She’s an experienced money manager and contributes regularly to the company newsletter on subjects of credit management, repair and money saving tips. Martha is a graduate of UNC Greensboro with a major in Speech Pathology and Audiology and a minor in Developmental Psychology. She is a licensed mortgage loan originator having completed educational requirements mandated by the federal government and the state of North Carolina. She is a genealogy researcher and writer of family histories and has written two books. Martha is a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She and Greg are the parents of Ryan Conrad and live in Bethlehem, NC with their two dogs, Tessa and Lexi.
